The Puyallup Food Bank strives to provide food to those in need with dignity and to utilize food surpluses, eliminating waste. As a distribution center, the organization saves countless dollars for other food banks, nonprofits and charitable agencies by providing an efficient and centralized location for collecting and distributing food.
The Puyallup Food Bank is a volunteer-based organization. The organization relies upon churches, individuals, businesses and service clubs in the community for the resources needed to sustain their mission.

Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 5 (DAV-5) provides advocacy for thousands of veterans from every walk in life, resulting in millions of dollars in benefits.

When disabled veterans finish their service, they can face obstacles when they seek the compensation they’ve earned serving our Country. Paperwork, red tape, and the complexities of the VA system can all stand in the way of a veteran receiving proper payment.
Sometimes documents are missing and need to be recovered. Sometimes paperwork needs to be completed in the proper order. Some claims can take years, but DAV-5 stands with veterans all the way.
DAV-5 has had great success in bringing compensation to the veterans we serve.

Entre Hermanos came into being by the initiative of a group of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Latinos/as that saw the need for social, educational, and health support services in their community in the spring of 1991. These activities were done in cooperation with the Washington Latino AIDS Coalition, a group affiliated with People of Color against AIDS (POCAAN). Looking forward to our 27th year of service to the Latino LGBTQ community, we continue marching into the future, always progressing and offering more services far and wide to Latinos in the State of Washington.

Their small staff, over 200 volunteers, the board and clients all work to help their neighbors. Working to end homelessness, to provide food to all who need it, to assist in moving people from survival to sustainable success is the heart of Fishline. We also work to keep the dreams of children alive by providing birthday parties and presents when parents can’t make this happen on their own. We feed children on the weekends with our backpack program, and provide emergency clothing. This is some of the work that supports our Mission, Vision and Values.
